York University East Campus – York

York University student accommodation project included 750 student bedrooms, 98 kitchens and a community hub spread across 12 buildings.
The installation included copper mapress fittings for both domestic water and primary heating. Drainage was carried out by installing terrain solvent weld fittings and pipe. Each building had 2 communal kitchens on each floor and a separate shower and toilet pod per bedroom. We provided extract ventilation for each cooker unit and pod. Every building had an independent plantroom in which we installed a boosted cold water storage tank and a domestic hot water heat plate. Each heat plate was fed via district heating from a centrally located main plantroom onsite.
Flight Club – Cardiff

Flight Club is the home of social darts, a spectacular bar and a mind-blowing experience. This basement feed 3 story building includes 15 oches (darts playing area), four bars and a roof top terrace.
All the plumbing was done via risers from a basement feed source to enable more entertainment space. The installation included front and back of house facilities, able and disabled toilets on every level, a 150 KW gas boiler for heating and two air handling units located on the roof.
This job required a lot of forward thinking and planning as strict deadline for the clubs opening party had to be met. Working alongside other trades and prioritising communication on site, we adhered to the exacting project timelines and delivered the package on time.
